Virginia received her
Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from the University of Connecticut
and she is a trained, licensed Kindermusik instructor. A clarinetist since the
age of 10, Virginia has performed with many ensembles, including various pit
orchestras and the New England Wind Symphony. She has been involved in community
bands and directed the Kearsarge Community Band in New London, New Hampshire for
two years. She has taught instrumental music in public schools in Sunapee and
Claremont, New Hampshire. She currently performs on both instruments and is a
member of the Seacoast Wind Ensemble and Quintessence, a woodwind quintet.
Virginia is the Director of Early Childhood Education at the Portsmouth Music
Arts Center where she also teaches Kindermusik and clarinet. She resides in Rye
with her two children.
