Barta Anderson...

 

Barta earned a BA in Music from Barnard College and an MA in musicology from Columbia University.  She also received Suzuki training from Ithaca College and numerous teacher training courses.  Barta has been teaching for over 30 years as a private Suzuki Violin instructor, public school strings specialist, and high school orchestra conductor.  She has also performed in extensive orchestral and chamber groups and is currently playing locally with the Bellamy String Quartet.
